Director’s Note
Children today often sit silently in bustling restaurants, eyes glued to glowing screens, while the laughter and chatter of families swirl around them – jarring scenes of disconnect, where a phone becomes a pacifier and the world outside turns into a blur. I wanted to confront this quiet crisis, to address the tired eyes, the sluggish limbs, and the dimmed curiosity of a generation growing up with more screen time than sunshine. As a child, I found wonder in everyday things – shadows that danced, clouds that told stories, and puddles that hid magical worlds. These simple pleasures are not disappearing from the world, but from children’s minds. This play is a window of hope – offering a glimpse into a world filled with wonder, imagination, and creativity. A world that children will see, and hopefully, one they will carry home in their hearts.
