DOLKAR DOMA AUR YETI

Dolkar Doma Aur Yeti is a heartwarming Hindi musical set in a serene Himalayan village, where four adventurous children form an unlikely friendship with two elderly women living on the edge of the settlement. As the children spend time with them, the women begin sharing enchanting tales from the mountains — stories woven with wonder, wisdom, and myth. One such tale sparks the children’s imagination and leads them on a magical quest to find the mysterious Yeti. Blending folklore, music, and adventure, the play celebrates the power of storytelling and intergenerational friendship, inviting audiences into a world where imagination and reality beautifully intertwine amid the mystic charm of the Himalayas.

Director’s Note

At its heart, Dolkar Doma Aur Yeti is a celebration of the stories that shape us — stories whispered by the wind, carried through generations, and reborn in the imaginations of children. Through music, laughter, and myth, it reminds us that even the most fantastical tales hold kernels of truth — about courage, friendship, and belief. For me, directing this piece was about rediscovering wonder — that rare moment when imagination transcends logic, and folklore becomes a mirror to our own hearts.
