RANNBHEDI

This play depicts the mindset of today’s children who give up and become disheartened at the slightest failure. They become afraid to face life because of these setbacks. But their elderly grandmother, through her life experiences and stories, instills confidence in them once again.

The play depicts some challenging situations of the present time that bear a striking resemblance to the circumstances of the Dwapara Yuga (the era of the Mahabharata). Therefore, the audience sees characters from both the present day and the Dwapara Yuga simultaneously.

Ultimately, the play conveys the message to all viewers that life becomes a “battle”; one must face it like a brave warrior, without fear, strengthening one’s resolve and ultimately achieving victory in life.
