Aye zindgi… the literary creation of Mr. Raghunandan Trivedi, The main character of the story Vinayak Acharya binds himself in discipline and seriousness so much through his life that he looses pleasure of childhood; youth and old age. He realizes losing these precious pleasures repeatedly, even he attained them further confusion; and he died in the same confusion.

His numerous unfulfilled desires and precious moments of life died with him like childhood mischief; playing santoliya, kite festival, holi and matargashti with friends. Youth is the dream of heaven, during that flirting; roaming around the streets, Tea shops, waiting for girls, outside Girls College etc.

He wishes to put hand in hand with his darling wife Khwahish and to go for movie with her, celebrating children’s birthday, But Vinayak in the alleged ‘discipline and seriousness of affair’ does nothing and his life got over with these KHANCHE.

Directors

Aru Vyas is a graduated in sociology- political science and diploma holder from the prestigious theatre tnstitute of India, National School of Drama, New Delhi. After NSD he has Established Abhinay Gurukul Cultural Educational Society. This Society is working in the field of Creative Education with the help of theatre. Aru Vyas has acted in, and directed many plays. A theatre instructor of repute, he has conducted several theatre workshops in different parts of India, and has been associated with international theatre festivals like Bharat Rang Mahotsav, North-East Theatre Festival, and SONG Theatre Festival. He was the Indian representative at the International Theatre Festival, Lincoln Center, New York, Organized by Bhartiya Vidhya Bhawan, New York. He designed and directed a number of plays for various schools & theatre groups in different parts of India and abroad. He is the recipient of ‘Natyabhushan’ Award, Odisha for the contribution in the field of theatre. He has visited many foreign countries like  U.S.A. Singapore, Oman, and Muscat in relation with theatre.

Swati Vyas is a physics graduate from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and holds a diploma in Acting from the prestigious National School of Drama. A seasoned actor, director, and theatre educator, she has worked extensively with theatre groups across India and abroad. Known for her excellence, as a theatre instructor, she has conducted numerous workshops nationwide and participated in major festivals such as Bharat Rang Mahotsav, Purva Festival, Bal Sangam and Jashne Bachpan. She represented India at the International Theatre Festival in Manila, Philippines, organized by UNESCO in 2006. Swati has also explored diverse folk traditions including Parsi theatre, Bhavai, Jatra, and Bidesia. Professionally, she has served as Head of the Department at G.M.I.S. Jakarta (IB International School), worked with T.I.E. (Theatre in Education Company), designed theatre arts curricula for Galaxy Education System, and contributed as Assistant Professor (Acting) at the Film Institute, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Abhinay Gurukul is a performing wing of the Abhinay Gurukul Cultural Ecucational Society, a Society which works with the holistic approach to sustainable total development of humankind. ABHINAY GURUKUL is extensively active in theatre making, developing new performance, organizing theatre workshops, seminars, conferences and festivals. It shares profound relationship with many renowned artists, traditional performers and professionals around the world.
