As he grows up, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee becomes the Minister of Industries representing the Congress Party. After India’s independence, political differences arise between him and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, which leads him to leave the Congress Party. He resigned from the post of Industry Minister in the Congress Party. After that, he went to Shri Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar, also known as ‘Guruji,’ and took his advice and Make a Political Party named as Bhartiya Jansangh With Pt. Deen dayal Upadhayay Following his ideology of ‘One Nation, One Constitution, and One Flag,’ he devoted his life to this cause and ultimately sacrificed himself for the nation. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee strongly opposed the ‘Permit System’ implemented by Sheikh Abdullah in Jammu and Kashmir. At that time, citizens of India could travel freely across states, but a special permit was required to enter Jammu and Kashmir. Dr. Mukherjee argued that ‘One country cannot have two constitutions, two prime ministers, and two flags.’ He also questioned Pandit Nehru as to why Jammu and Kashmir was not treated like any other state of India. As part of his protest, he entered Jammu and Kashmir without a permit. He was arrested and later died under mysterious circumstances while in detention. For this reason, he is remembered as a great leader who sacrificed his life for the complete integration of Jammu and Kashmir with the Indian Constitution
