TUNGABHADRAR TIRE

Debray, the king of Bijayanagar, defeated Kalingaraj Gajapati Bhanudev in the war. In the result, Bidyunmala, the elder princess of Kalinga was to marry Debray. But in this political agreement, Bidyunmala felt herself as a pawn. She had to travel to Bijayanagar with her sister Manikankana. Along the way, they rescued a homeless man from the water. His name is Arjun Barma. While reaching Vijaynagar, a sudden storm hit the bride’s ships, and the princess fell into the water. Arjun saved her. On reaching Bijayanagar, the princess first came under the evil eye of Debray’s brother, Kampandev. He doesn’t just want a princess but to be a King. For this purpose, Kampandev attempts to kill his brother. At this time Arjun saved King Debray by killing Kampandev. Arjun earned King’s trust. But at the same time, Bidyunmala started to fall for Arjun. Arjun loves Bijayanagar and the king, perhaps even the princess. But for Arjun, the king’s faith was of great value. The princess’s sister Manikankana loves Debray. The King adores her too. But the king could not accept anyone other than Bidyunmala. There is a political agreement with Kalingaraj Gajapati Bhanudev. As a result, the king is now imprisoned in this agreement. Bidyunmala has also been holding her emotions. Arjun is also holding his emotion. Manikankana has also been stopped her feelings to flow. What’s the way out of that? What’s more important than politics? Is it possible for Bidyunmala to convey her love to Arjun Barma? Can Manikankana get her sister’s future husband Raja Debray? The story of love and politics unfolds at the bank of Tungabhadra.

Director’s Note

A theatre is nothing but a dream. We read script and visualize the picture in stage. Dream starts. In this progress our dream changes its pictures and becomes deeper day by day. Multiple actor-actresses-technicians spend their brains for a good amount of days to build up and create a theatrical performance. And it’s a game to make you happy, sad, angry, romantic etc. To make you emotional we are to push our emotions to various aspects. We love it and hope you too love this art form. Here we portrait the reality in an artistic manner. You are in a real world, watching everything in a three dimensional view point. In theatre you will get a different dimension from an artistic point of view.
