Yeh Raftarein is a journey inward. It explores the often ignored relationship between the individual and their inner self a quiet space where truth exists beyond expectations, labels, and borrowed identities. The play invites the audience to pause, to listen, and to reconnect with the rhythm of their own soul in a world that constantly demands conformity.
Rooted in the child’s world of wonder and exploration, the soul of the play lies in celebrating innate curiosity, imagination, and playful learning.
Built on dynamic movement, poetic storytelling, and vibrant music, every moment on stage is designed to resonate with the spirit of a child while speaking deeply to audiences of all ages.
Our creative journey began with exploring how sensory perceptions shape a child’s understanding of the world, inspiring a play that follows a child’s adventures in discovering the magic of nature. Developed through improvisation and guided by the participants’ creativity, the script evolved organically to reflect the perspective of a young mind. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, the visual design and music were crafted to immerse children in wonder and curiosity. The process brought together actor teachers, designers, musicians, and children, forming a collaborative space rooted in creativity, education, and the transformative power of theatre.
